I thank the internet because if not for it, you probably would not have looked my way and took me in as a friend when we were back home. (different circles and social strata,LOL..your pedigree is of a higher status than mine, thats for sure=).
You are a blessing, an inspiration, an always a wonderful friend for coffee (which means youre a good listener apart from a great conversationalist) amongst many things friends do.
You definitely are the epitome of fun and class combined in one. Someone i admire and idolize yet, i feel comfortable at the same time.
On your birthday, I thank the heavens, I got lucky.
Its not everyday i get to befriend someone like YOU in this lifetime.
from one libran to another: keep the equilibrium rockin!

PS> i thank tita Loy today for bringing you into this world too...
i was the slowest, most unfit person there. and even my 'mature' husband has outdone me, by being such a show-off and running with them. (it doesnt show but he goes to the gym, 4x a week and swims 2x a week, but he eats for an entire rugby team, so he's no slim jim).
but ive done it.
i scaled Mam Tor on foot. and some hills at Dove Dale and Millside.
and it wont be our last.

friends (karla esp who does mountain climbing) have warned me, i will be hooked after this.
i said nah, im much a creature of comforts and convenience, that i will find hiking up heights will be more a hassle than a hobby.
some friends say, either your'll love or hate it. never in between.
i fell hook,line and sinker.
enamored is the word. who wouldnt, the beauty of the mountains just grab you.
im giving up and giving in to the nature's call of being one with it.

we scaled that mound. can you see my friends fooling around? and my husband so ungentlemanly not waiting for me.
that is God's work..one of the many mounds we climbed. we walked for 7 hours on Saturday. 4 hours on Sunday. and 5 hours on Monday.
evidence of getting there...

more photos of the weekend of climbing and walking. Peak District...
the name of the place alone tells you that everywhere are mountains..
arrived at 8am in manila, after the shower party at mama's house the night before.
we did not sleep the night before as we had to pack for the trip and organize their paperwork for their appointment...
the moment we checked in the hotel, we slept (we were sooo tired) and woke up just in time for lunch..
while mama, roi and ana were doing their work at the embassy, karla, jojo, mayel and i were lazily roaming at Greenbelt...after being bored, we went to Mall of Asia and did a little bit of shopping.
roi,ana and mama met up with us at MOA and went to have dinner at Dads/Saisaki...it was one great dinner as far as i can remember..
we went on a van tour around manila, and went back to the hotel to get a good nights sleep..

(all photos done by the G10 except photos 1,2 and 3)
we were in manila and met up with beautiful people...our extended family in manila: we met up with Aileen and her equally gorgeous sister Dionne. ..
we also had the opportunity to meet Alex, D's boyfriend- who not only is gorgeous, he's like D, so humble and so warm..all of us (including the boys in our group) gushed and sighed dreamily looking at them two...
thanks Aileen, D and Alex for meeting up with us..and joining us for breakfast with your busy scheds...
we met up at our hotel for breakfast, parted ways for the day (D and Alex had meetings to go to), while myself and the entire family went thrift shopping at the divisoria..=) we met up again for dinner (with Alex and Dionne, AIleen was unable to come as she was working with her photos) at Greenbelt for dinner at Ebun...
ahhh, i want to come back again...say, december?hehe..
she definitely know how to make one feel special. not only did she give me sweet boxes of treats they were the ones i would definitely choose if i was on a sugar binge=)

messages like this just warms my heart
the box that held my heart

Therese, i dont know how you do it, but when it comes to thoughtfulness, you top the game my dearest friend=)
i surprised good friend aileen (big time) by turning up unexpectedly (she thought i was in the UK).
she thought she was having dinner with jane. jane said they were waiting for another friend. and i arrived. i wish i took a video (or even a photo) of her expression when she saw me.
these photos were taken from the dinner that ensued at La Tegola Restaurant,Busay.
